How Does Taking Off Work?

By first undertaking a series of comprehensive searches within our database of over 2,500 global opportunities, Taking Off works with the student and their family to clarify, define and prioritize the parameters that will come to shape your individual experience(s). Your feedback, both positive and negative, helps to redefine and redirect your search until you develop a list of experiences that are both exciting and appropriate to your particular needs.

In the planning stage we encourage and help you to gather information about your choices to ensure that your understanding of the opportunities comes from a wide variety of sources. In certain situations Taking Off may need to go beyond the database to secure a match. We have the resources, enjoy the challenge, and use our global network to find or create situations based upon individual requests. We are always searching for selections that help keep costs to a minimum without sacrificing quality or safety.

Taking Off provides extensive guidance and support as you make your choices. We create a plan that makes sense in terms of the best combination and sequence of experiences. We guarantee that before you take off you will have a plan for the full length of your time off.

If you start to think differently about how you want to use your time we are here to help. Growth and perspective are part of the experience. What you plan in June may not make sense the following December. We are involved at all points in the process and available at any time to restructure your remaining time.
